Starting today, you can support us
By making a donation, you are helping to provide an (extra)ordinary life for the beneficiaries of the Aigues-Vertes Foundation.
Regular, occasional or one-time, every donation counts because every donation helps to meet the needs of people living with an intellectual disability!

Educational resources
The educational fund supports projects aimed at improving the quality of life of beneficiaries . It contributes to financing expenses related to the following areas: developing our educational approach, training staff on the latest educational tools, and recruiting resources with specific skills. For example, it provides certified professional training at the Higher School of Social Work in Yverdon for staff working in the workshops. This fund also finances the purchase of specific equipment. For example, it provides multisensory room setups to promote…
well-being and relaxation.

Social fund
The social fund supports beneficiaries with limited financial means by covering the costs of vacations, training, various therapies, and special care. For example, a person in a precarious financial situation can participate in a long vacation that is beneficial to their personal development.

Workshop development fund
The workshop fund contributes to maintaining and developing professional opportunities and activities, enabling beneficiaries to thrive by engaging in fulfilling trades suited to their abilities. For example, the bakery's premises could be expanded to increase the number of adapted workstations. This fund also finances the acquisition of equipment and materials used in the workshops to foster beneficiaries' independence in carrying out their work. For example, an electric stand mixer could be purchased to allow them to make cookies independently.

Infrastructure Fund
The infrastructure fund finances the renovation or construction of new, adapted and modern infrastructure with the aim of improving the quality of service for beneficiaries.

Your donations in complete transparency
Thanks to the generosity of private donors, we can carry out projects that aim to improve the quality of life of the Foundation's beneficiaries .
The use of the funds entrusted to us is subject to very strict controls. Every year, a trustee verifies that we comply with the regulations governing the use of the funds and that their proper use is recorded in our accounting.
100% of donations are allocated directly to our development projects.
The Aigues-Vertes Foundation is recognized as a public utility and non-profit organization.
Donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
Every year, we send our donors their donation receipt in mid-February, for the previous calendar year.

Projects funded 100% by private donations

The senior citizens' building
The Foundation has developed a specific support program for people of retirement or pre-retirement age, implementing fulfilling projects combined with a diverse range of leisure activities and personalized care. In 2018, a new building specifically designed for senior residents was opened within the village, financed entirely by private donations.

The National Summer Games of Special Olympics Switzerland
A delegation from the Foundation, comprising around thirty beneficiaries and accompanied by ten coaches, participated in the national summer games organized by the city of St. Gallen in June 2022. Special Olympics' philosophy is to strengthen, through sport, the self-confidence and social acceptance of people living with intellectual disabilities.

The architectural adaptation of a living space
We were able to carry out an architectural adaptation project (insulation, lighting, flooring quality, colors, furniture, etc.) for an apartment where people with autism spectrum disorder live. These donations made it possible to create a perfectly adapted living space that fully addresses the sensory sensitivities associated with ASD.
A thousand thanks for your support!
